The commercial industrial gas market in Belarus generated revenues of $32.1m in 2019. This is up from $4.0m in 2009, indicating an impressive average annual growth rate of 31.2% p.a.

Belarus is currently under the control of a dictatorial government, which is stunting the economy and growth in a number of areas. Over the past decade (2009-2019), GDP increased by approximately 25.5% on average annually (inflation adjusted). Since 2011, growth has been erratic in Belarus, with a high GDP rate of 7.9% in 2019.

Within the 2019-2024 timeframe, accordingly, our forecast models predict growth from 2.6% p.a. in a low scenario to 3.4% p.a. in a high scenario. Accordingly, the industry in the Belarus is expected to achieve revenues of between $36.5m to $38.0m by 2024.
